Our Policy
Kindermusik with Silvia and Friends - Program Policies & Guidelines
1. Enrollment and Registration
• Enrollment Commitment: Classes run on a term basis aligned with the school calendar. Enrollment is for the full term unless otherwise specified.
• Trial Classes: New families may attend one paid trial class before committing to the term. Trial fees are non-refundable but deducted from tuition upon enrollment.
• Registration: Registration secures your child’s place and includes access to Kindermusik Digital Home Materials via the Kindermusik App and website.
• Sibling Policy: Siblings not enrolled in the class may attend only if pre-arranged and approved (exceptions for non-walking infants in carriers).
2. Tuition & Payment
• Payment Terms: Tuition is payable in full at the start of the term unless a payment plan is prearranged.
• Refunds & Cancellations: Tuition is non-refundable once the term starts, except in exceptional cases (e.g., relocation, medical reasons with documentation). Refunds are pro-rated minus any materials provided.
• Missed Classes: One make-up class per term is offered, subject to availability, for illness or unavoidable absence. Make-ups cannot be guaranteed due to limited class sizes.
3. Attendance & Participation
• Parent/Caregiver Participation: In Foundations, Level 1, and Level 2 classes, a participating adult must accompany the child throughout the class.
• Timeliness: Please arrive on time to ensure a smooth and engaging experience for your child and the group.
• If a child becomes overly disruptive, the parent/caregiver must take the child outside the classroom until they are settled, to ensure a positive and focused environment for all.
• Sickness Policy: For the well-being of all families, please stay home if your child or the participating adult has symptoms of contagious illness.
4. Class Environment & Safety
• Shoes & Food: Classes are no-shoes zones. Please remove shoes before entering. Food is not permitted during class (except for bottle-fed infants).
• Supervision: Parents/caregivers are responsible for supervising their child at all times.
• Venue Rules: Please respect the property of the venue, including furniture, books, and toys not part of the Kindermusik setup.
5. Weather & Emergency Closures
• In the event of venue closures, government directives, or extreme weather, classes may shift to an online format or be rescheduled. No refunds are provided for emergency closures, but alternative solutions will be offered when possible.
6. Photography & Media Release
• By enrolling, you consent to photos and short video clips of your child being used for marketing purposes (social media, website, brochures, etc.).
• If you prefer your child not be included in photos or videos, please notify us in writing at registration.
7. Communication
• Important updates are shared via WhatsApp groups and email. Please ensure we have your correct contact information.
• We welcome questions and feedback at any time to help us make this a positive experience for your family.
8. Program-Specific Policies
